Wandering what pinch points your peers are feeling? Why not join a regional network of manufacturing leaders who share your ambition for business growth and passion for learning?
Peer Networks brings small and medium-size manufacturers together to learn from one another, share and discuss new ideas and grow their businesses by working through common challenges.
The network is part of a national programme, funded by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and delivered locally for Greater Manchester by GC Business Growth Hub.
Each network typically consists of 11 senior managers, directors, founders and/or owners from the local manufacturing community and is led by a professional facilitator. The group will usually meet online once a fortnight, over a three-month period, to discuss a series of common business challenges.
All topics discussed in session are selected by the group, as participants work together to create tangible solutions in a collaborative, confidential and non-competitive environment. Dedicated 1-2-1 support will also be provided to help implement and manage change within each individual business.
More than 300 businesses across Greater Manchester have already engaged with the wider Peer Networks programme. Here’s how manufacturers specifically, can benefit:
Learn from, and inform, your manufacturing peers: Find solutions to the real issues your business is facing by working with other local business leaders facing similar challenges. Pass on the benefits of your knowledge/experience and form new, lasting connections.
All it takes is your time: Peer Networks is a fully-funded programme, and all it takes is a few hours of your time each month. You can join virtual sessions from the comfort of your home or workplace.
Varied delivery, real results: Activities take place in structured, small-group sessions led by a skilled facilitator to ensure you see real results in return for the investment of your time. You will also benefit from 1-2-1 mentoring, coaching or advice, depending on the support you need.
