What We Need

KeySME Limited acts as the ‘Data Controller’ and ‘Data Processor’ of all personal data you provide to us. If required, we may collect personal financial information from you such as income and expenditure statements, asset and liability statements, bank account statements, personal mortgage statements and credit card statements. We may also require special types of information or location-based information.

We will also need other documents to verify your identity and address such as a passport, driving license, utility bill and/or financial statements.

Why We Need It

We need to know basic personal data to provide you with an accurate recommendation for your individual circumstances. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need to carry out our services.

All personal documents held for identity and address verification are retained to allow KeySME Limited to meet its regulatory obligations around fraudulent activity and financial crime.

All the personal data we collect and use is controlled by KeySME Limited and for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the United Kingdom. No third parties will have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so or you give your explicit consent for us to share your information. We have a Data Protection policy in place to ensure your personal data is processed appropriately and securely.

How Long We Keep It

Your data will be stored electronically on a cloud encrypted server which is located in the United Kingdom.

Third Parties

With your consent, we will share your data with relevant commercial lenders on our funding panel so they can process your information and allow KeySME Limited to offer appropriate solutions from their product range.
