Asset Finance
Asset finance is a popular and useful tool for businesses looking to invest in essential equipment such as vehicles, plant and machinery. This investment could be used to support growth, replace outdated kit or raise cashflow from unencumbered assets.
Using hire purchase or finance lease, a business can invest in new or used equipment without having to pay the full cost upfront. Instead, borrowers can spread the purchase over an agreed term. Typically, inline with the useful life of the underlying asset. In addition, fixed rates give peace of mind that monthly repayments will remain the same over the course of the finance agreement.
By utilising asset finance, businesses can acquire the latest equipment and technology whilst preserving crucial cashflow. From sustainable commercial vehicles to cutting edge robotics, we specialise in sourcing and structuring asset finance solutions for businesses across the UK.
If you have plans to invest in new or used equipment, why not get in touch to see what we can do for your business.
Invoice Finance
Cash tied up in outstanding invoices can place an uncomfortable strain on working capital. To ease this pressure, businesses can utilise invoice finance to release funds in advance of standard payment terms and ultimately, boost cashflow.
Two types of invoice finance - factoring and invoice discounting - allow a business to submit unpaid bills as security for funding in return for a percentage (up to 90%) of the invoice value. With invoice discounting, credit control remains with the borrower whereas with factoring, the lender will manage this process on their behalf.
Invoice finance is an incredibly powerful funding solution and by leveraging an often unused asset - trade debtors - businesses can unlock crucial cashflow and quickly access funds. Payments are typically made within 24 hours.
We assist a wide range of UK businesses with their invoice finance requirements across a multitude of sectors including recruitment, haulage, construction and manufacturing - If you're looking to access additional cash and harness the power of your sales ledger, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Supplier Finance
Supplier finance can be a cost-effective and flexible solution for any business looking to preserve cashflow whilst mitigating exposure to currency fluctuations.
Using a pre-approved finance line, businesses can protect cashflow by paying suppliers for goods or services received, without leaning on cash reserves or dipping into an expensive overdraft facility. Suppliers can be international or domestic and ancillary costs including VAT, duty and tariffs can also be funded.
In terms of process, a borrower would typically submit selected supplier invoices to a lender for review. The lender then settles the invoices directly with the supplier(s) in their local currency. The borrower then has up to 150 days to repay the lender in their domestic currency. The funding cycle continues inline with the borrower's ongoing finance requirements.
Combining supplier finance with invoice finance can be a powerful funding solution, allowing businesses to finance the entire trade cycle from supplier order right through to sale of goods or services.
Financing supplier payments is a useful option for businesses wanting to mitigate supply chain risk whilst protecting working capital - To learn more about our tailored finance solutions, please do get in touch.
